He calmly got to work around a busy household and identified the issue so quickly. He explained everything to us really well (no talking down to us) and went through the fix and explained next steps to ensure this type of things never happened again.We got a quote that evening that we believe is really reasonable and we’ll be sure to book MJP for the follow up work and anything in the future.Overall very professional, timely and knowledge electricians.

We had an unexpected water leak that knocked out our electrics and made a call to MJP who offered an electrician for later that evening or next day … More (Sat), for an out-of-hours fee or alternatively a cheaper mid-week fee, we accepted the former out of desperation. From the immediate confirmation email to the helpful courtesy text message sent prior to arrival of our electrician, this felt like a very professional service from the outset. The service itself was excellent and given by a competent and efficient electrician (David); all was checked with great care and made safe including a waterlogged light fixture change. Overall, my wife and I were very pleased with this service and will be back to MJP when we need any electrical work!

We had a new … More Consumer Unit installed to replace our old fuse box and had our kitchen down lights replaced too as the existing ones were not to current standard and one or two other minor fixes.Daniel & Drew arrived dead on time, they were very courteous and kept us up to date with the work they were doing during the day and cleaned up when they finished.I will definitely use them again for any other electrical work and recommend them to friends & family.

When our bathroom extractor fan broke we needed to find someone to get it sorted quickly. … More Turns out our consumer unit was rather out of date and, as we are thinking of selling in a few years, thought we would get that replaced too.We sought multiple quotes. MJP was the cheapest by far. Chris came over and looked at the work that needed doing, clearly explained our options/solutions and what they all meant. We are grateful that he was able to explain it in terms we understood.After considering the quotes and the attitude of those coming around to provide the quotes, we opted for MJP.Chris was due to arrive at 8, we had a text from him at 7:40 to let us know he would be arriving soon. He was on time and just as friendly and professional as when he was providing the quote and trying to secure our business.Throughout the several hours Chris was in our house, he was friendly, kept us informed of progress, explained the work he was doing and what it meant.He then walked through the work he had completed before leaving our property and checked if there was anything else he could do for us before leaving.Chris is an asset to the business and is an ambassador for great quality electrical work/customer satisfaction.MJP - we don't know how much Chris earns, but he deserves a raise! After completing all of the work they found a sight problem with a light the was proving complicated to fix. They went out of their way to stay a lot longer than planned to get this fixed and we couldn’t be more thankful for their professionalism on our job.Fantastic work to a fantastic standard.
